Paul Bowes is a dedicated and hard working publican who believes the success of a good pub is to understand what customers and guests want. Paul's favourite saying "Best Prices in Town" does not de-value the quality of the fine ales, beers, lagers and other drinks on offer. Why not try a pint of an award winning locally produced beer from the Wylam Brewery If it's a party or function you require Paul will always offer a solution to your needs. Paul wishes everyone to have a good night and there is often theme nights where customers can enjoy a night of fun, let their hair down and have a break from the norm.
The bar has been fully re-designed and refurbished to a very high standard and Paul has been able to keep the bar traditional in the style a good country pub should be. Darts and Pool are available where there's always someone there up for a game or two and if there's a sporting event on TV there are plenty dotted around so you'll never miss any action. The Jukebox is stacked to suit any preference for the young and those not so young.
